The Mandala (Sanskrit for "circle") has a long history and is recognized for it's deep spiritual meaning and representation of wholeness. Mandalas can be seen all around us, but are not just people- centric. They are larger than life. Mandalas represent life as we know it, but they also represent a larger eco system and universe that exceeds our consciousness.
Purpose and benefits of creating mandala. Creating mandala as art therapy can be a wonderful activity for centering, active-meditation, emotional expression and self- soothing. People find the process of drawing mandala of any technique to be very calming.
