All daily practices will be on on a beautiful yoga deck overlooking Grandmother Ocean!

ABOUT THE LAND
Immerse yourself in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, also known as “The Heart of the World”, mystical and exotic region declared by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve. It is the land of the Arhuaco, Kogi, Wiwa, and Kankuamo indigenous tribes who through daily meditations and rituals maintain their deep commitment to restoring the balance between the spiritual and the ecological world.
The Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta has an ecosystem unlike any other. Reaching a height of nearly 19,000 feet, this multi-peaked volcanic massif is the world’s highest coastal mountain . There are multiple ecological zones; wetlands and mangroves along the coast, tropical rain forests, deserts, alpine tundra, and finally at the top are the snow-capped peaks. Thousands of plants and animal species have been found here, including 628 bird species —about as many as in the United States and Canada combined.

~ Anthar Kharana ~
​
Anthar Kharana, a native from Ocaña a small town in the North of Colombia, is a medicine man, music composer and professional sound therapist from the British Academy of Sound Therapy. Anthar comes from a long family line of musicians and is a guardian of different ancestral medicines guided by different elders from Colombia and America since he was 14 years old. Anthar is also a Guardian of the Chanupa, Inipi and he is also a Sun dancer and a member of the Red Road.
In the last 19 years of traveling the world, Anthar has shared the wisdom and the connection between the Sacred Fire and the Ancestral Sound with the animal, mineral and plant kingdom. He leads traditional ceremonies, workshops, sacred music concerts, private healing sessions, conferences and retreats in various countries including Colombia, Chile, England, Scotland, Wales, Ibiza, USA, Poland, France, Portugal, Switzerland, Korea, Bali - Indonesia, Romania and Italy.
As a music composer, he has created different inspirational music albums as well as being an active composer for several international dance and theater companies such as Protein Dance, Sinman Dance and Vocab Dance among others.
Anthar is the Director and founder of the Ancestral School in Colombia and both The Tambora Foundation and Tribal Sound Healing in the UK and Colombia. He is also co-director of the first School of Sound Healing in Scotland, ANSU School of Sound and The Ancestral Pathways School in England.
